  • The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Support third party relationships for all C&F providers
  • Responsible for making all C&F bookings and confirming all C&F reservations
  • Annual vendor evaluations for C&F suppliers
  • Own the success of coordination for every C&F trip
  • Liaising between our Toronto office for alignment on all information
  • Reconciliation of costs incurred for C&F groups
  • Working closely with the accounting team to ensure that all suppliers are paid in a timely manner
  • Liaising with our Amazon program staff to coordinate the arrival of C&F groups to the Amazon.
  • Liaising with coordination teams in Toronto to ensure that all necessary logistics and risk management information is reviewed and compiled before the arrival of a trip
  • Providing all logistics and risk management information to the necessary people to ensure that customer expectations, health and dietary needs are met.
  • Sharing the responsibility of holding the 24 hour emergency phone and thus will be first point of contact in assessing minor risk management and customer service cases
  • Ensuring that all facilitator trip funds are balanced and submitted to our accounting team
  • Support Youth Trip Coordinator as requested
  • Periodically facilitating both youth and adult trips in Chimborazo and / or Amazon
  • Central coordination and processing of all trip payments to suppliers

  • Working cooperatively as part of a dynamic team as well as independently
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years? experience working in tourism ? preferably experience in managing and coordinating reservations
  • Studies in Hospitality and Tourism or similar
  • English & Spanish fluency
  • High level of organization
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and other Office software
  • Ability to build strong and professional relationships with both those that work within the organization and other companies we work closely with
  • Experience working with youth in some capacity (group leading, teaching)
  • Strong customer service skills, ability to work professionally with adults and organizational stakeholders
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Polished presentation and ability to liaise with high-touch clients
  • First Aid and CPR training an asset but not required at time of employment
  • Driver?s license an asset, but not required
  • Ability to adapt to new responsibilities as protocol and role evolves
  • Flexibility in working long hours, weekends and holidays
