By November 2018, over 1.3 million Venezuelan migrants and refuges arrived in Ecuador. While 75% of Venezuelan arriving in Ecuador stayed in the country for only a few days while they are in transit to third countries, more than 250,000 are estimated to have stayed in Ecuador.
