Purpose of this role Offer an alternative to the current supermarket retailers in Rappi by creating Rappi’s owned and dark-store operated online supermarket that will deliver freshness, reliability and competitive prices to our consumers with highest level of service, while operating socially responsible.

What will you do during the first weeks?

  • Find the right warehouse and negotiate contract
  • Prepare the warehouse for operating (equipment, systems, processes, protocols, people, etc)
  • Select and contract a 3rd party operator
  • Build and manage a high performing Operations team
  • Prepare the launch plan for each dark store location and execute it
  • What will you do during the first months?

  • Manage to optimize the operations of the dark store, working closely with the 3rd party operator
  • Deliver against operations efficiency targets
  • Develop and implement continuous operational improvement projects to gain efficiency. That could entail collaboration with global teams and / or other countries
  • Instill in all employees the highest possible sense of customer service
  • Ensure compliance versus industry practices & policies
  • Be the ultimate responsible for the success of the dark store

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results vs deadlines Deep desire to work in a startup environment, helping the company grow
  • Great personal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills Have superior data analysis skills.
  • Ability to speak English or Spanish fluently.
