Formos is looking to hire 5 talented software developers in our Quito office. This position is permanent and will begin as soon as possible.
We are looking for Full-Stack Junior / Semi Senior / Senior Java Developers, Mobile Android and iOS Developers will be considered as well.
Candidates must be precise, detail-oriented, and excellent communicators. They should have a strong understanding of development best practices, and experience or familiarity with the technologies we use including Java, JavaScript, Hibernate, Angular, React, and others.
Our developers are the foundation of our global business and are responsible for the design and development of important software for a highly advanced technology market in the United States.
They work with local and international teams from the United States and Vietnam based on projects located in the US. Our teams include Designers, Architects, QA, and Project Managers. Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and test server-side software in Java
Develop front-end, web-based, interfaces using technologies like Angular and React
Develop native mobile applications using React Native, Android, and Swift
Collaborate with project managers (PM) and other resources, both in person and via video conference. Requirements :
Computer Systems Engineering or Full Stack Java experience
Experience with Angular, React, or other open-source JS front-end frameworks
Good understanding of database design and SQL
Excellent communicator and adaptable to frequent changes
Organized, detail-oriented, thorough, and patient
Ability to analyze problems and suggest solutions.
Flexible and able to learn quickly
Must be able to communicate in the English language (mainly reading and writing) Preferable but not required :
Experience with server-side web frameworks like Spring MVC
Experience with JSON and REST web services
Experience with Hibernate, JPA, LINQ, or other ORM structures
