Position Summary :

Lead business process related consulting engagements. Analyze business requirements for customers, in pre-sales (scoping) and post-

sales engagements, and map business processes to proposed technical solution. Assess gap between current and future business processes and develop operational readiness plans

Principle Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and document current business processes, perform health check on existing business operations in selected domains by using industry standard methodologies such as Six Sigma
  • Drive functional scoping sessions for Transformation programs, using a business process approach
  • Review business requirements documentation from the customer
  • Participate in system requirement analysis sessions to ensure business requirements are correctly mapped to system requirements
  • Assess impact of proposed technical solution upon the existing business processes, and recommend changes in organizational responsibilities and methods and procedures
  • Review customer / SI generated end-to-end solution and UAT test scripts and advise NetCracker delivery team on impact
  • Carry out business readiness assessment prior to new solution deployment and execute on behalf of the customer selected business deployment tasks
  • Participate in selected business deployment work streams and generate work stream specific deliverables
  • Experience and Requirements :

    9-10 years minimum, the majority of operational roles


  • Lead of several consulting engagements with direct accountability for engagement / workstream deliverables
  • Successful design of major new solutions, based on commercial products
  • Successful design and implementation of Business Transformation programs in the telecoms industry.
  • Meeting / exceeding non functional requirements for new BSS / OSS stacks as well as tuning existing stacks to improve performance
  • Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Network

  • A minimum of 8 years experience in IT-led business requirements
  • Proven analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of eTOM process maps
  • Strong operational practice of BPM methodologies and tools
  • Well-developed knowledge and understanding of the global telecommunications marketplace , from both technical and business perspectives
  • Demonstrated knowledge of one or more Communications Service Provider markets
  • Demonstrated domain knowledge in at least one BSS / OSS domain
  • Experience delivering solutions for Communication Service Providers
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with large-scale telecom BSS, OSS, or NMS applications such as Billing, Order Management, Customer Care, Circuit Design / Assign, Provisioning, Network Inventory, Network / Element Management, Outside Plant
  • Certification as six-sigma expert (xxx-belt)
  • Personality & Leadership Skills

  • Business-like presence and ability to interact professionally with customers at all organization levels
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team to address complex technical problems and work with accounts in complex environments
  • Ability to understand complex organizations and develop consultative delivery skills
  • Ability to moderate and lead requirements meetings with customers IT, Network and Business departments.
