The VTEX Sales Director will focus on selling our digital commerce services. As a Sales Director your role will span the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation, opportunity qualification, sales pursuits, closing strategy, execution and account management.

Drive sales opportunities from a full life-cycle perspective, be KPI and result driven.
Manage pipeline development to supplement the efforts of Marketing and Business Development teams by contributing to email campaigns, conferences, local events, and strong set of activities with partners.
Help strategize with prospects on their digital roadmap and ideation by showcasing the value-add of VTEX.
Lead presales process. You are responsible for the overall strategy, approach and roadmap to win proposals and RFPs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners as a whole and individual partner sales resources individually.
Keep current leads, opportunities and wins up to date in our internal Salesforce CRM system.
Have travel and work hour flexibility, especially in the face of urgent stages in high value opportunities.
Execute and manage follow-up activities to position the adequate VTEX solution (B2C, B2B, Marketplace, Order Management, Omni-channel, etc.)
Define coverage strategy and an action plan.
Provide forecast and ensure forecast and pipeline accuracy.
Establish trusted advisor relationships across lines of business that will provide ongoing, accurate account information and future opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or IT-related discipline.
Proven Sales for a digital transformation, or Business Development ability and drive.
Ability to articulate the VTEX value proposition clearly in an industry context.
Ability to demonstrate VTEX commerce platform.
Ability to work independently with a strong drive for results.
Strong customer focus.
Knowledge of the Front office market including : Commerce, Marketplace, Order Management, Omni-channel.
Can demonstrate successful track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
Urgency-driven decision making and drive.
Strong capability to work in teams and an ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to customers and sales.
English and / or Spanish language is required.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in solutions sales.
