Position Purpose Responsible for the planning, execution and control of all marketing activities such as media planning, activation, digital strategy, events and promotions, including relationship with media agency (Starcom) and budget control for the Biscuits Category business in Ecuador to achieve volume, NR, market share and profit goals. Main Responsibilities
Build and implement compelling marketing activation plans that support plans for the Category Development.
Recommend / support strategies for the business Category in order to generate category growth.
Coordinate and execute the Marketing plan with the Key Activation Parthners and Social-Media Agencies.
Execute and control A&C ensuring its optimization.
Actively participate in the IBP process to analyses volume forecast and building blocks.
Analyze and use information to identify business opportunities : Nielsen, distribution, drop size, margins, channel mix, sales process and inventory.
Identify and understand market trends (key drivers volume, target, channels, moods, etc).
Implement new products strategy to add innovation to the brand / category.
Influence and engage commercial team and lead alignment and approvals of activation plans and targets.
Help / Support on the constructions of portfolio strategies and prices to maximize brand’s marginal contribution.
Assure cross markets implementation of brand equity regional platforms for the brands under his / her responsibility.
Implement advertising and promotional campaigns according to the brand values in order to improve brand’s awareness, penetration and market share.
Analyze market information including Nielsen, price and POS activities tracking to assure plans implementation, track results and adjust demand forecast accordingly.
