Responsibilities
This technician, working in discontinuous service for the day, is responsible, under the authority of the power plant superintendent and his deputy in the quality of boiler water (decriminalized water, boiler makeup water, feed water, steam) of the water present in the circuits of the air coolers and the closed cooling water circuit (CCW).

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Excellent understanding of the operational requirements for a large plant process or utility scale power plant particularly in regards to safety, reliability, and dispatched operation.
Demonstrated proficiency in a leadership role for the startup and commissioning activities related to new construction or extensive rebuilds of utility scale power plants of this size and complexity.
5 years or more satisfactory experience in a power plant daily Operations.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Previous extended tours of work in man camp / remote access locations.
Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, scheduling, and work planning programs of some type.
Good English communication skills; Spanish working knowledge as a minimum, fluency preferred.
Experience working within multi-cultural environments a definite plus.
