Technical responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the loading and hauling equipment to ensure that the planning and programming of all loading and hauling activities are executed in the daily, weekly and monthly program.
  • Maintain records of production, mining area and location of the personnel team in the implemented Systems.
  • Maintains records of pre-start meetings, ideas of safety and improvements, problems raised by the employee and reports through the correct processes.
  • Carry out controls to ensure that safe, efficient and productive work practices are maintained at all times.
  • Assist the shift supervisor in day-to-day tasks.
  • Promote and adhere to appropriate internal methodologies, policies, procedures and standards.
  • Constantly maintain a high quality of work in all assigned functions.
  • Provide informed comments / opinions, improvement opportunities and areas of risk for the administration.
  • Ensure that the quality of the results of the department's work meets the company's standards and is monitored daily to ensure that the delivery meets expectations.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of improvement by actively encouraging direct reports to participate in continuous improvement, capturing their initiatives and providing comments.
  • Perform any other task assigned to it.

  • Ensure that safe work procedures at work or the Occupational Hazard Analysis (JHA) are implemented for those high-risk tasks for equipment and employees.
  • Participate and contribute to safe practice and environmental awareness and Social Responsibility.
  • Demonstrate personal commitment with respect to safety and social and environmental responsibility practices.
  • Identify potential hazards and ensure that appropriate measures are taken.
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency, safety and effectiveness.
  • Raise issues of safety, environment and social responsibility in meetings to ensure that problems are addressed and resolved quickly

  • Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in loading and hauling activities in mining operations.

  • Language
  • Fluency in Spanish is required and a command of English would be an added value. A willingness to undertake desirable language training.
