Own, coordinate and improve the business processes within the relevant department, other related departments, and across the Cobre Panama business with a specific focus on how these are executed in JD Edwards
Develop and facilitate JD Edwards testing activities within the relevant department team
Refine and document business process flows for the relevant department
Work with the JD Edwards team to define and articulate business rules required for data accuracy and consistency
Investigate and resolve data quality issues
Act as the primary contact for all relevant department JD Edwards users
Provide first-line support relevant department JD Edwards users
Mentor and train JD Edwards users within the relevant department
Identify, analyse, propose and document appropriate solutions for business issues.
Establish and maintain relationships within the other Cobre Panama Maintenance functions
Assist in development of JD Edwards training materials and / or conduct training
Develop Dashboards and KPI reporting in Power BI for the relevant department
Control, report and reduce operational costs, and ensure cost consideration taken with all decisions.
Implement FQM Way culture in the Control Room team - "Bolder, Smarter, Driven, Together."
Perform any other duties as assigned by Optimization Coordinator.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Technician or Bachelor’s degree, preferred

Expert in JD Edwards Maintenance functionsBroad knowledge of how JD Edwards integrates with other modules, especially Inventory and ProcurementUnderstands JD Edwards Master Data and its impact on JD Edwards processesDeep understanding of JD Edwards Maintenance from a user’s perspectiveA good understanding of how Work Orders integrate with the JDE supply chain applicationsDeveloping and improving Business Processes, and mapping those processes to JD Edwards functionalityDevelopment of KPI reporting in Power BI
Fluency in English is required and proficiency in Spanish highly regarded. A willingness to undertake language training desirable.
