The Quality Specialist will have the responsibility for conducting ISO9001 : 2015, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2 audits and any other specifications or industry standards ensuring compliance to the OFS Quality Management System.
Roles and Responsibilities
Implements and maintains a Quality Management System according ISO 9001, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, Baker Hughes and statutory and regulatory requirements.
A member of the Internal Audit and Compliance Team in performing evaluations for compliance with US and foreign regulatory, statutory or industry standards requirements.
Execution audits and assessments to ensure that activities are performed and documented according to the policies / procedures and applicable quality and regulatory requirements intended to assure the quality, effectiveness and safety of our products
Assess compliance of systems, processes, and procedures through internal audits
Provide feedback in the form of audit findings and observations and review corrective actions
Attend customers audits and customers quality reviews.
Support strategic initiatives to improve compliance to regulatory requirements and standards
Execute internal audits according the established internal audit schedule.
Receive certification bodies audits (certification, surveillance, or multi-site)
Provide to the Regions regulatory and industry standards expertise (ISO, API, BASEEFA, ATEX, CE, etc.)
Raise corrective actions requests for any nonconformities found and follow up, review effectiveness until proper closure.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in functional quality roles, preferably in Oil & Gas Industry.
Must be a certified Auditor for ISO 9001 : 2015 and API Q1 or API Q2.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently.
Strong problem solving skills.
