The Payments Business Analyst is responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications and ensuring the delivery of the functionality requested.

The Payments Business Analyst is the liaison with regional / local product teams for requirements and with the Development Center for the delivery of the software.

The Business Analyst will ensure the on-schedule delivery of the requirements and will track project milestones raising risks and escalating relevant issues for management attention.

Job Responsibilities

1. Analyze business requirements and assist users in the clarification process of the requirements. 2. Liaison with the development areas (Local, Regional, Global) 3.

Write functional requirements documents 4. Support users during testing activities. 5. Coordinate and ensure on-time delivery of the requirements.


Deal with most problems independently and have ability to solve complex problems. Integrate domain knowledge with an understanding of industry standards and practices.

Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing of objectives of the sub function / job family.

Applies project management skills. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex / sensitive information.

Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on analysis of the factual information.

Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.

Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeless of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Language : English Advanced Level

Other Skills / Abilities :

  • Good Interpersonal skills, open attitude to changes, proactive and being able to self-manage tasks. Excellent time management.
  • Be accountable and accept ownership of tasks assigned. - Be open to provide and receive constant feedback.
  • Experience : 8+ years of experience in Finance institutions and Software Development Projects.
