WHAT THE JOB IS ALL ABOUT
As a Football Systems Operator you will be working on-site at football stadiums around Ecuador, playing a key part in the delivery of our services to Liga Pro and Copa Ecuador matches.
As you gain experience in the role, you may be expected to be involved in more tournaments throughout South America and further afield;
such as the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana.
The role will encompass installation and operation of our technology at matches. You will need to be prepared to work long days at weekends and midweek evenings, as we work whenever Football happens.
Whilst we provide a number of services in top-flight football, you will initially focus on our Video Assistant Referee service.
You will gain exposure to various other services as you grow in the role and become a more experienced member of the team.
We will equip you with the technical training, assistance and full exposure to our systems to perform your day to day tasks but also to encourage development and progression to help make an impact on what we do.

Setting up Hawk-Eye technology in the stadium (this can involve physically demanding work, such as rigging cameras and running cables)
Conducting pre-match checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures
Liaising with stadium staff, match officials and host broadcasters on-site
Monitoring the systems during the match
Monitoring hardware and software performances, being able to troubleshoot and report encountered issues
Taking full ownership of our system on-site and representing our company
During the off-season, building and maintaining our hardware and equipment
Assisting with installation and testing of new products and services
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
A technical grounding; with a desire to work with and learn new technologies,
Excellent communication skills (Spanish)
Working proficiency in English
Legally authorized to work in Ecuador
Expert knowledge of football and a passion for the game
Bright and enterprising with excellent problem-solving skills coupled with an inquisitive mindset
Proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative
Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Responsibility, quick thinking and ability to resolve adverse situations
Ability to establish contacts with customers and consumers in a professional and accessible way;
Nice to have :
An interest in other sports and sports analysis
Preferable experience working with video technology / replay technology desirable, or live event / technical production
Knowledge of other languages a plus, particularly Portuguese
