The Video Editor can take complex ideas or functions and translate them into meaningful, compelling, convincing, clear and concise videos.
They will tell stories around our mission, assist with demos for our technology stack and help with promotional site videos.
Min 1 year experience in video editing
Well-versed in Premier Final Cut
Expertise with editing and coloring R3D, BRAW, LOG and other formats
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with special emphasis in Premiere and After Effects
Experienced in finding and collecting relevant archival footage and material
Creative drive to explore brand new approaches to video storytelling
Excellent time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail, grammar and logical story construction with an eye for visual communication
Strong written and visual communication skills and the ability to collaborate across various department
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines while still paying attention to details and executing flawlessly
Preferred but not required : some experience with building and operating Blackmagic, RED, Sony, and Arri cameras

Edit global marketing assets, social media content, web assets and videos
Coordinate and seek video footage for marketing needs
Collaborate with the team to create content workflows from concept to production
Join weekly meetings to review video priorities & deadlines
Present a brief outline of footage including a shot list or script
Assemble all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer
Digitally cut files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what's usable
Create a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the program / film and determining the exact cutting for the next and final stages
Reorder and fine-tune the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film / video.
Oversee the quality and progress of audio, video engineering and editing
Suggest or select music
Finalize technical aspects such as correcting faulty footage, grading and coloring and adding special effects.
