Reporting to the Local / Hub Business Unit Manager and working as a member of the Project Execution team in Process Automation in Ecuador, you will be coordinating and assisting the site-works team in the cost-effective execution of deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule and safety requirements.
Performing site surveys to establish the required steps to execute site-works activities (together with Supply Chain Management)
Assisting with preliminary enquiries, bid reviews, labor modeling and other preparation activities
Helping to collect and estimate of labor hours and other works-related information
Performing on-site reviews, ensuring that business systems are updated with all approved project cost adjustments
Reviewing and analyzing progress reports, recommending and implementing improvement actions to resolve current and potential issues
Controlling installation- and commissioning-related documentation accuracy and consistency
Effectively communicating project information and customer feedback to internal project stakeholders
More than 3 years of experience, working as Site Engineer or related with power systems
Knowledge of project management techniques, processes and tools
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering specializing in power systems or a similar field
Intermediate English level
